Two of the world's biggest stars have joined forces to release what has become an online phenomenon. "Banana", performed by Jamaican superstar Conkarah along with fellow Jamaican, multi-award-winning reggae icon Shaggy, has reached over 120 million video views on Tik Tok.

Trojan Records has launched a campaign tied around the 50th anniversary of the hit single ‘Young, Gifted and Black’ by Bob Andy and Marcia Griffiths.The initiative makes a nod to the music which marked a monumental UK chart and cultural moment 50 years ago, whilst equally spotlighting the plethora of young, black individuals making waves worldwide today in 2020.

Aloe Blacc's single is also charting on OFM's Top 30 at #18 along with Andy Grammer's, "Don't Give Up On Me" still on the chart at #30.

Five-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter CeeLo Green releases new music this week with the first track “Lead Me” from his forthcoming album entitled “CeeLo Green is… Thomas Callaway” (Easy Eye / BMG). This is CeeLo’s first album in five years and for this highly anticipated next project, he has collaborated with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, who took on the role of producer of this new, artistic endeavor with CeeLo. The album is available for pre-order today and is slated for release in June 2020.

A TRIBUTE ALBUM: ANGELHEADED HIPSTER - THE SONGS OF MARC BOLAN AND T.REX 

BMG announced the release of an extraordinary tribute album to one of the great British artists of all time, Marc Bolan. For ‘AngelHeaded Hipster’, a collection of major stars including Elton John, U2, Joan Jett, Nick Cave, Peaches and Marc Almond have reinterpreted and reimagined some of his greatest tracks including Jeepster, Bang A Gong (Get It On) and Ride A White Swan. 

The album was made under the direction of Hal Willner, a veteran with a reputation for creating alchemy with diverse artists who sadly died on April 7th from COVID-19, leaving behind an endless series of affectionate tributes from all those who have worked with and knew him.
